Just taking a few minutes to check in and share a couple new layouts. This first one is of our little girl, who by the way turned 22 this week, so definitely not new pictures. I did this for one of the challenges at Let's Capture Our Memories forum, "Remember When".

And this second one is me and my honey. This one was for the layers challenge.

It's Been Way Too Long

I took most of the winter off from scrapbooking to recover from surgery. I'm feeling very much like my old self these days and although I haven't been scrapping much, I did want to tell you about the 28 Days of Summer Fun coming up at Let's Capture Our Memories. Sketch #74

This week's sketch at LCOM is up and I'm so glad that I was finally able to get back into the swing of things and get a layout done. The sketch is amazing, Ness is one amazing sketch artist. And the team really outdid themselves. There are nine samples to inspire you.

Blog Hop

It's Been A While

A month in fact. I don't have anything crafty to share with you today, but just wanted to update you a bit about why I haven't been posting.

I was diagnosed in January with kidney cancer and had my right kidney removed on Feb 8th. All is well, I'm recovering and will not need treatments as the cancer was all contained inside the kidney.

I have been being spoiled rotten by family and friends and feel so blessed by so many loved ones around me.

I have been doing a bit of hand sewing and tried to scrap a few times but just didn't have the motivation to finish a layout yet. Hopefully in the next few days that will change.
